When rodey is talking to fury he at some point calls Fury "nick" meaning he could be a skrull. Remember same happened in the beginning of far from home Maria hill calls Fury "nick ".
Brother did you notice in the interval when they had to support Nick Fury everyone turned into human and in the council meeting to support Gravik everyone turned into skrulls. It looked like an amazing detail to me idk whether I'm right or not. Idk why the ratings are low for this show but I liked it very much.

i believe rhodey already knew the weight in fury's talk...he was tough on fury certainly on purpose...he knew if he speak in favour of fury he might be in danger and can be replaced or killed...the show is getting intense and is delivering it's best the jokes the pushed limits of mcu within pg13... least hype some of the best direction

2. I see a parallel here, how kri and skrulls were united would be repeated here but for humans where it is revealed nick has a child , i.e. a skrull and human hybrid which eould make gravik believe humans and skrulls could co exist
